URM
Great scores

My D started a month ago and just loves it. I hope you will too.

Music to my ears! Anymore feedback?

In @ Harvard and any college you want. Valedictorian, Godly EC's, Amazing Scores, and recruited athlete?

Even if you never played a sport in your life you'd still be in at most of those places.

Just make sure your essays and interview are as good as the rest of your application. This is the only thing that could scupper you. Try to downplay your parents income as they would prefer a poor URM over an affluent one.

Very impressive....congrats on your achievements.

I think you're in at Harvard. But, out of curiosity, what other schools are you considering as a back-up?

I'm considering Wake Forest, Duke, UNC, UVA, Princeton, and possibly Oxford and Cambridge.

better apply soon for oxbridge, deadline for UCAS is coming up.

Omg. You are in.

in everywhere in the world...lol (okay, maybe i'm exagerating a bit too much).

but great chances everywhere....for real.

Just to mention that the deadline for overseas applications to Oxbridge has passed for this year if you wanted to be interviewed in New York or Vancouver. Otherwise the deadline for international applications for 2008 is less than a week off - 15 October. After that it would be a case of applying next autumn for entry in 2009. (PS. it can only be Oxford or Cambridge, not both)
