It might depend of what you major in. As you prob. know, when you apply to NCSU you apply to the College of your intended major unless you are undecided and do First Year College. Some Colleges i.e. engineering are more difficult in admissions than other colleges like Forestry.

I think you are fine SAT wise but for your gpa which is considerably low especially the weighted, the average is about 4.3. is your gpa in an increasing trend? but overall i think you’re fine just try to improve your gpa 1st semester senior year and then you will be in good shape.

My GPA was impacted a bit since I moved from NY to NC my sophmore year, not to meniton my school operates on the 7 point instead of 10 point scale(which means that when they get it my GPA would probably go up with that recalculation(hopefully). Since then, my GA has been moving up.

Don’t all public high schools in NC operate on the 7 point scale? All in our system do.
I don’t think they will recalculate your gpa using a 10 point scale. Good luck to you.

Depending on them to convert your grades to a 10 point school won’t save you. You probably will get in, though. What sets you apart, as far as leadership, etc?

If your high school, like mine, is unusually hard compared to others in the region, state will know. We have notes from the counselor, too, which indicate the relative hardship you may have endured.

Already submitted my app, so that’s the only thing that is updated.

My school isn’t terribly challenging or hard lol. We get some graduates who go on to Chapel, NC State, and ECU for the most part. We had one person go on to Stanford lol.

And that was supposed to be a 4 on the AP Bio exam, not a 5.
