Although many people will attempt to estimate your chances of acceptance to Binghamton University based upon a forum thread, the fact of the matter is that no one short of an admissions counselor can really come close.

There are a wide variety of factors that come into play besides your numbers:
(*) Characteristics of your personal essay, AND<a href="“>/i Your teacher recommendations, AND<a href="”>/i The school you applied to (SOM, DSN vs. WTSN, CCPA, HARP), AND<a href="“>/i Demographics (race, gender, residency, “special abilities,” etc.), AND<a href="”>/i The high school you are applying from, AND<a href="“>/i Your rank within your class, AND<a href="”>/i Your extracurricular activities, AND<a href="“>/i Your course rigor, AND<a href="”>/i The date you submitted your application, AND;/i The overall characteristics of your application and supplemental materials. It’s a HOLISTIC process! ;)

Tthe average SAT score is **1300/b. The average GPA was a 94.
Your SAT score is a 1230. Your GPA is a 96.

Binghamton has no shortage of applicants with excellent numbers. It is everything ABOVE that sets you apart from other applicants. It’s for this reason that sometimes students with below-average numbers get accepted, while those with stellar numbers may receive a denial.

An especially important factor is the school to which you are applying to. The Schools of Management and Nursing are far more competitive to get into than the other three schools, and generally have more competitive applicants.

Good luck! :D
