I'm not sure how to calculate my weighted GPA but I have taken three AP courses (two junior year, one sophomore year) and am enrolled in two/three for next year. The GPA trend is also very positive as it has gone up every semester of HS. Also what could I do to make my resume more appealing? Thanks

sounds like you have a good chance cause of your ec’s and act score. good luck. btw i plan on applying for fall 2011 too :)

I’d say in your situation it is a toss-up. I’d definitely make sure to get your grades up to the best they can be, that’s probably the best thing you can do to improve your chances (that and write a killer essay/possibly add a good rec)

Thanks^. And does anyone else have an opinion?

I think it’s slightly less than a toss-up. However, you do definitely have course rigor and ACT in your favor. Apply very early and you have a decent shot. My guess is that you’ll be deferred and then if you get your grades to a 3.5+ each semester of senior year, you’ll probably be admitted.

Best of luck to you! Just remember, apply as early as possible! :)

What would say the chances are that I at least get deferred?

Depends on how you do your senior year. Get up over a 3.5 and pretty good. Under that, not so good.

What is your Junior GPA?

If its 3.5+ I’d say match, and if lower probably low reach if you get your senior grades up to 3.5+
