Chances for Harvard, if you chance me, i'll love you forever...and chance you back :)

Technically, as of right now, it's impossible, since I'm a junior and haven't taken any of the Subject tests yet :). However, based off of my current academic achievements, and assuming I continue to perform as well as I have thus far, can you please tell me what the chances of me getting in are? :D

Hooks:
Well... I'm black and I perform well in school, have a few ECs that I'm dedicated to (TFD/NHS/TTA/BSA/Science Olympiad) and that emphasize leadership. I'm pretty good at writing essays and I think I'm pretty well rounded :)

Btw, meant to put, gunu be taking Math II, not Math I subject test, and i’m sure i can get at least a 700 on it :)

Your stats are very good and you are still a junior! I hope you get in next year!
Your GPA is amazing! You take good and challenging courses. Maybe you could get involved in some more activities next year, it depends on what you plan on majoring in.
I think you are just what Harvard is looking for, but with the ivies you just never really know, a bunch of luck is needed.

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1040510-please-chance-me.html</a></p>

You have solid scores, URM  , course rigor, rank, and the grades. Academically, you’re set (keep getting good grades!). Your ECs are good, the folk dancing is pretty creative lol. You are in the running for Harvard, but it’s a reach for like 99% of the applicants lol. Good luck!

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1027620-brown-ed-chances-i-chance-back.html</a></p>

It’s Harvard, so it’s always a crapshoot, but you have the grades. Get the CR of SATs up. Also, your biggest weakness is ECs. Maybe create a club or try to get a leadership position in a club? Being a URM, you have a good shot

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1040831-chance-me-penn-brown-dartmouth-cornell-uva-nyu-bc-etc-will-chance-back.html</a></p>

Thanks! Yeah, i HATE my CR score, lol, but i’m taking again at the end of this yaer after studying a bit for it, and i know i can get at least a 34/35 on ACT, cause when i took it, i didn’t know rules of writing (english sectino) or what the science section even was. ANd there was math on there that i hadn’t learned yet (trig)

Oh, ithink i forgot the ECs from Summer when I went to Sports Camp at AFA (MVP for track out of campers) and got accepted into STEM Program at Naval Academy, also was on school basketball team in my sophomore year

I have more ECs from 9th/10th grade that i didn’t put on, cause i wasn’t sure to include or not, lol, mainly science fair/basketball/community service from tutoring students for state exams. Also got 1st place in Experimental Design in Science Olympiad

oh and also! If our TFD team wins this year, we get to go to Turkey for a month and perform for the Turkish President. would i be able to include that under EC, lol

And do we include family responsibilities? cause i saw some guy put his in, because my dad messed up his leg in dec. of sophomore year, and as a result, i had to help my mom basically build the house we’re living in (built kitchen cabinets, laid flooring, built closets, landscaping and tiling)

oh and also! If our TFD team wins this year, we get to go to Turkey for a month and perform for the Turkish President. would i be able to include that under EC, lol

THanks again for rating, rating y’all now :)

…gonna have to remake this post with all these ideas i keep remembering, lol

oh and also! If our TFD team wins this year, we get to go to Turkey for a month and perform for the Turkish President. would i be able to include that under EC, lol

Where are you from Myles? Sounds like you go to Harmony Science Academy lol.

YOU STALKER! WHO ARE YOU!? lol, not HSA, but sister school of them, SST, why?

LOL, Aha i got to HSA :D. Turkish run school ;). Its cause u said your going to turkey and all that crap lol, and Cosmos is like the mini turkey in the US haha. Im in austin, texas btw ha.

A well-qualified URM, you have high chances.

Yay! Ty brownman! yeah, pretty much tarch, haha. you go to turkic fest in november or no?

Your stats are great, but so are everyone else’s at Harvard. What is going to put you over the edge is your URM status. I think you have a solid shot at getting in. Good luck!
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1023030-chance-me-everywhere-ill-chance-you-back.html</a></p>

Yeah of course. It was fun ;). SST is located where?

Just keep your grades up man and I think you’re in. Your stats are just as good as most kids applying to Harvard but you’re a URM which should give you a boost over them. Have fun bro.

buddy you sound like Obama to me
start working on that essay A.s.a.p man its going to make a difference. maybe talk about racism? idk get creative.

Take atleast two good interns its very important and may be your key to an ivy.

chance me back http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1041694-uc-san-diego-my-applications-backwards.html</a></p>

your stats are great, but i feel like harvard looks for something special that no one else has with everyone they except…valedictorian might work, idk just make sure to make yourself stand out! good luck!

Is the admissions process for Harvard really that random?

WOW. you’re in. i’d be shocked to hear otherwise

wow, thanks a ton guys! I didn’t think I’d get such “for sure” things  It’s a real nerve relaxant, really :)
