I'm currently a Freshman at a school which is in the Top 100 Public School List. My GPA is a problem, but I have managed to bring it up considerably in this semester (My GPA above is from the 1st semester). The reason it is so low is due to missing work, which was usually missing because of carelessness. I have currently managed to eliminate most of my carelessness and my GPA so far for the current semester is about 5.3. I am interested in going to Pre-Med at Harvard. How likely am I to achieve my goal?

wait 2 years then post again, but you are on the right track. Take the hardest classes you can (even if you are not necessarily good at the subject) And get some more EC's. Maybe take up a sport of some sort, volunteer, summer job, newspaper staff, you know the drill. Your SAT's are pretty solid for a Freshman as well, I'm sure with two years and more practice you'll be at 2200+
