Premed

Bump pleez help

Wow, you’ve got nice stats and awesome ECs! I’ll chance you for the schools whose competition I’m a bit more familiar with.

Harvard - reach
UPenn - reach
Cornell - low reach/high match
JHU - match/high match
Boston U - in
Columbia - low reach/reach
Brown - low reach

I’m a chance noob, so don’t take me too seriously, but that’s what I got from previous chance threads/result threads and comparing their stats/ECs to yours.

I don’t know about this, TahaAhm. Your extracurriculars are shady at best. Did you even ever go to some of your activities listed? It seems doubtful.

Your specific achievements are meagre. Perhaps you should also heavily consider many more lower tier schools than the higher ones your have - are you really that sure you can get into?

You should already know about Siemens already…

Aren’t these schools pretty much matches? -NYU, Stony Brook, Boston U, U Pitt.

In any case, AdmissionsOff, I actively participated in all these clubs, went to all competitions, participated in most events, etc. I understand I haven’t achieved much.

I didn’t move on in siemens.

Admissions- it’s a shady process in general isn’t it?

But from what I’ve read, your Academic stats alone will probably give you a good shot at Cornell at least (as for Ivies). You aren’t completely lacking on the EC’s… they aren’t good enough alone, but combined with your stats and moving essays, recs then I would give you a “fair” chance at the Ivies, so in CC that is equivalent to at least one :P
