Chances for ivies & top 20 universities

Chance me if you don't mind!!!

I'm interested in Harvard, Princeton, Yale, Stanford, Vanderbilt, Brown, Cornell, UPenn, Columbia, Dartmouth, Duke, Georgetown, and UVA. I've heard a lot of encouraging noises from teachers, administrators and other faculty at my high school but I'd like to hear more opinions.

I attend a well-ranked public high school which regularly sends out a number of its top graduates to high-ranked universities.

wait, (I’m not too familar with ib so don’t murder me if this question sounds stupid) so can you take ib exams even if you dont go to an ib school or what?
Anyway, don’t worry, I’m not a junior or senior so I’m not a collegiate threat

You will get “in the conversation” at all 13 of those schools. I’d say a realistic expectation would be that you’d get into 9 or 10 of the 13. The first four on your list are a reach for everyone & probably will be the most difficult. If one of those first 4 are clearly your favorite you may consider applying ED to improve your chances.

To add to csdad’s comments:

Apply ED… and be a “no financial aid needed” applicant. Those two will help your chances.

Ehh, all of this stuff is just sort of average for those schools. Coupled with weak Math SAT IIs and boring ECs means your chances are sub 25%.
