everything looks good--maybe a little short on EC's. it all depends on who else applies now. you qualify for all of the schools with your stats. make your essays hooking!

Ok, well I come from a really competitive school, so I probably only rank 10th out of like 300. Canadian schools don't rank.

We have about 10 other people applying to Ivy and they all have stellar SAT scores/EC/Marks and such.
Generally SAT scores in our school ranges from 2200 to 2290
and SAT II scores range from
MIIC800 (we're a math school)
P750 - 800
C730 - 790 (me being lowest :()
BM750+
and our marks are usually in the 89 to 92 range.

We have this many ppl applying to the following:
Harvard: 3 or 4
Yale: 2 or 3
Princeton: 3 or 4
Cornell: 3
Columbia: 2 (one was already accepted from ED)
Penn: 3
JHU: 1
Duke: 1
Northwestern: 1
UM: 3

so I'm pretty much screwed >.<
well on the bright side two years ago 2 ppl went to MIT, 1 to Harvard, and 2 went to Princeton
and last year 1 got in Harvard but went to UToroto, another got in both MIT and Princeton and went to Princeton, 2 more ppl went to Cornell

I guess my advantage is that our school is known. Disadvantage is that too many ppl are applying to the same schools, tough competition.

i am still amazed that 5 ppl from my school last yr. got accepted into MIT - not all of them attended though

Boo, I heard MIT has a quota of 5 on Canadians. So lucky...
Also in the grapevines is that two of which applying from Canada are IMO gold/silver medallist, so I'm even more screwed, even tho I'm the only applicant from my school to MIT this year.

6 kids were accepted to MIT at my school 2 years ago :P .. only like 200 kids in their class

yay for houston.

only 1 girl I know thats applying this year.

bump bump bump

everything looks pretty good. hopefully you'll get what you want for the SATs

bump -----------
