Hmmmm…First off NYU is very expensive, perhaps that should be on the bottom of the list. I think you have a chance at the others seeing as to how your GPA and ECs are strong but definitely retake the SAT and try to get over a 2000 and you will have a better shot at it. Best of luck!

Very decent chances for all of them, especially since you’re an under represented minority. You also have a lot of other things going for you with your awards, and out of school activities, as well as you leadership and participation in clubs. You seem to come from a tougher background than most people so if you can talk about how you had to overcome that, I would actually be surprised if you didn’t get into at least one of the schools you listed. However, please do retake the SAT and take the ACT because getting a higher score in those will definitely increase your chances.

Chance me back, too, please!

I’d say your chances are low-mid for Ivies and squarely in the middle for NYU. If you can get your ACT score to be high, you’ll really improve your application. Your hook is good, but you need the stats to back it up. Good luck!

Will you chance me back?

I think you have a very good chance of getting into all these colleges! Since you are African and female colleges will be attracted to you. They love having minorities. Just work on your essays and be the student that colleges want.

I think you have everything except for the testing. Retake you tests and shoot for 30+ ACT or 2100+ SAT and your chances will be much better for Penn, Columbia, and Cornell. You’re hooks will benefit you greatly, though. ECs look good enough. I think NYU is doable, but start thinking about financials!! NYU is crazy expensive and doesn’t provide as much need as the Ivies. Good Luck!!! Chance me back please!

retake you SAT. also think about financial aide for NYU
