<p>The responses from you guys are encouraging, however, I just want to highlight that I am NOT in the top 10% of my HS so my counselor will probably not put a check under "Excellent" for the academic category on the secondary school report. Also, it seems that W&M puts far more weight on SAT scores than grades, is this true?</p>

<p>I wouldn't say that SAT is more important than GPA, but your whole application will be looked at. GPA alone does not determine admission to W&M, like it does at some other schools.</p>
