I have a 34 ACT, a 4.0 GPA(uw) and am in the top 1% of my class
What kind of money could i get from tulane

You should have an excellent shot at the Deans’ Honor Scholarship, which is full tuition for 4 years (5 for architecture), no matter how much it goes up. You still have to pay room/board and fees, the latter are about $3,000. Of course, if you get other scholarships from private sources you can use those, and assuming you are National Merit Finalist you get $2,000 from Tulane. So if things stay the same as in other years, and if your EC’s and other factors are as expected, you should get offered a substantial scholarship upon admission (President’s Award, was $24,000 last year). The DHS requires a separate submission. It is very competitive, so take the time to do as good a job as you can. Good Luck.

THANKS a bunch

To clarify fallenchemists’ post, the room, board and other ancillary costs/fees all together total about $12,000 a year. As he said, the DHS is full tuition, and NMS is $2k/yr. Good luck!

Also, apply early so they get an early look at your stats and admissions becomes interested in you. The application for DHS is usually due mid December so give yourself plenty of time.
