Chances for Stanford & Berkeley?? Help!

No official class rankings, but definitely top 5%</p>

(Basically all Honors and AP classes)</p>

---Taking Physics C, Econ Micro, Econ Macro, Stat, and English Lit in May 09.</p>

<p>ECs:
-Debate: Top 30 in the DC-metro area as a sophomore
-South Asian Society: VP as sophomore, Pres as Junior, most likely Pres as senior
-Interned with Non-profit organization last summer
-Interning with EPA this summer (Planning on getting a reference letter from my boss and expect to write a lot about my experiences in my college essays)
-over 200 community service hours
-recreational basketball team for 7 years straight</p>

<p>I want to study Environmental Engineering and will probably be applying to Stanford EA and definitely Berkeley regular decision. </p>

<p>What are my chances for either? Any suggestions for my application/whole package? Should I take a third SAT subject test?</p>

<p>you have pretty good SAT and AP scores, but i dont kno if you'll get into stanford. to be honest with you, the only thing that really stands out in your ECs is the debate top 30 part and maybe the internship. you'll need to get more involved in those activities or something (winning states at debate..). hope this helps!</p>

<p>I think you have a really great shot at Berkeley. Stanford is a mega-reach for everyone but I think you've covered all bases.</p>
