LA/Berk seem like slight reaches...I'm planning to apply for chemical engineering though, so maybe my performance on the above chemistry competitions will help a bit? I'm definitely retaking the SAT I. Should I take another SAT II?

EDIT: Oh yeah, I'm also taking Intro to Number Theory through EPGY...I think I have an okay chance of aceing the class, but in the event that I get a B in the class, should I put it on my transcript anyway? =/

I think you'll get into one of them, but i don't know which one.

UCB/UCLA: Reach (Engineering)

I agree with Flopsy

UCB/UCLA: Reach (Engineering)

As for another SAT II, I see no point unless you are applying to a school that requires 3 SAT IIs, since you have 2-800s. I would suggest that you take the ACT which could be much easier for you compared to the SAT.

Thanks for the feedback, everyone. Hmm...I'm guessing I should apply for a different major then. Maybe chemistry?

With a less competitive major like that, how would my chances look if I got 2250+ on the SAT? I'm thinking about ACT, but it's so late into the year already and I've already done a fair bit of SAT cramming. Eh well, whatever the case, I'll definitely have to write some killer essays to get in.
