<p>Hello!
Can you guys chance me,</p>

<p>I stole this format.lol</p>

<p>I am a junior in a private boarding school from New York. I'd like to study anything business related, or economics...I'm kind of unsure. My school is very competetive. So my GPA may seem low, but it is because it is deflated. Most of the classes are of AP and Honors status, but that is never calculated. I also repeated sophomore year to get into the boarding school, so that first sophomore year and freshman year is not factored in.</p>

<p>UW GPA: 88(the only thing that messed me up was a C in the first semester of Physics-__-)
Class Rank: No class rank</p>

<p>These are from mock tests.
SAT: 1990
ACT: 30</p>

<p>Course Load: Well, I have been in okay class...if i might say...</p>

<p>-1st Sophomore year (public school, had horrible attendance, so spanish grade suffered..everything else was fine)

Honors World History- A
Honors Chemistry- B+
English 10-A
Honors Alg. 2-A</p>

<p>-2nd Sophomore Year(boarding school)
Spanish 2(-_-...i had to repeat this)-A

<p>Those are all high reaches. But you’re only a junior so you have time. You need to raise your gpa & test scores. A 32 minimum on the ACT & 2200 on the SAT.</p>

<p>But like I said, you have time to up your stats!</p>

<p>USC and UCLA are probably low reach schools while Stanford and Yale are high reach. Improve the test scores just a little and you should be okay for UCLA and USC and the Ivy’s may be a little more reasonable.</p>

<p>The race factor works in your favour, but Ivies are reach schools for everyone so good luck! :slight_smile: And you should put more emphasis on any leadership roles you’ve had in your ECs. Grades are not bad. If you can raise your scores, that would also be great.</p>

i got like 1770 for my SATs, had a GPA of about 3.65 and got into USC!
(however, I am from Australia and had a killer final score in Australia which is all that counts) Also USC has swapped to the common app this year so applications will get even more competitive! But, USC is the BEST COLLEGE EVER!! and you should definitely apply cause it is amazing!!!</p>
