So what do you think? Thanks

You have a good chance. I think that your legacy will help balance out your slightly lower M/V SATs (Last year and for the next few years they aren't putting much stock into the writing section). However, I have no idea how competitive the applicant pool will be...

This has nothing to do with this thread, but maybe wilmington wave was suggesting it when they said, " However, I have no idea how competitive the applicant pool will be..." Anyway I have good news for seniors, I don't know if you guys had this question but I emailed an admission director asking whether or not they experienced a significant rise in applicants (due mainly to the football team's success) and she said that the numbers were consistent with last year's, and if anything only a slight rise that every college will experience because of the insane amount of schools everyone is applying to. However, I suppose the juniors who are applying next year might experience the "flutie effect."

Also, "Last year and for the next few years they aren't putting much stock into the writing section" may I ask where you heard that, I believe it and all, but I was just curious if the admissions office is really that upfront with that, if so its good for me.

Well very few colleges are putting much stock into them until there are at least a few years data to back them up. When I went on my interview the assistant dean of admissions said they would look at them, but they really don't carry much weight. He said that Wake feels that their, rather intensive, writing sections on the application is a better measure for judging an applicants writing capabilities.

Brought CR up to 690.

Also brought Math up to 680, so a new score of 1370.
