<p>Top ranked high school, with a difficult grading scale i.e. 93-100 A 86-92 B etc</p>

<p>GPA 3.15 (recalculated using standard 90 80 70 scale = about a 3.4-3.5)</p>

S 32</p>

<p>Great EC's with over 200 hours of community service, some good leadership roles etc (not really concerned there)</p>

<p>Somewhere between good and great essays (the second one is pretty good, the first one I know is fantastic)</p>

<p>an upward trend in grades since freshman year. (low grades explained in PS, due to a disability)</p>

<p>I think you have a good shot. Don’t take me 100% sure when I say this, but I think they look more at ACT scores than GPA because ACT is more uniform. GPA has more of a backbone when you have class rank to accompany you. UIUC has a great business school, you’re in state, and I think with great essays you’ll get in! </p>
