Chances *important* (although everyone says that)

ok here we go, somehow this might give me relative peace of mind.
I will be applying for Stanford either EA or RD fall 2008. I probably need to retake the SAT 1 and maybe math 2 SAT 2.
SAT 1(First try): M: 780 R: 670 W: 660
SAT 2(First try): US History 760, Physics 760, Math 2 660(need to retake that probably)
Classes: Full IB curriculum, also taking AP chem next year with the rest IB courses.
GPA unweighted i think is 3.76 and weighted is 4.something, i have all A's and one B junior yr, 3 A's 3 B's sophomore yr, all A's freshman yr.

Class Rank: Top 4%

IB scores, SL Psych: 5 (taking HL psych next yr though) SL Physics: 5

National Merit Semifinalist

Extracurricular: Varsity Soccer all four years, Coaching youth soccer team, Club Soccer, martial arts, then I tutor, manage the website of, and help with street outreach for a non-profit organization in my community geared to help local children in poverty. Also, I am an artist and have won 1st place in youth national competition for central florida.

I work at a local supermarket as well on weekends.

Also I am bi-racial (black/white), and have traveled to many many places around the world, being exposed to many cultures

I live in Florida.

Have been to Stanford for info session, tour, and met with admissions officer.

What are my chances? should I apply EA or RD? What SAT's should I retake, and do I really need to put my low math 2 score if I can just put my other two subject test scores?

Your SAT1 was higher than I was when I applied and I got accepted. I got 1360 + 720 on SAT II Writing so 2080. Concentrate on other aspects.

Stanford seems to deemphasize SAT and SATII.

......my opinion ....
Given the deemphasis assumption, your ART background + focus on Soccer
across your activities seem like powerful ingredients for SCEA....? :)
end of ......my opinion ....

You do not have a choice about which SAT, SATII scores you put given they all get reported...?

Play up the ECs as much as possible--it seems like there's a lot of good stuff to each of them. Ethnicity and geography will help you; SAT scores and rank won't make or break you. Write great essays. Unless you're thinking of doing SCEA to Yale or EA to other places, you should do SCEA to Stanford. Good luck.
