Good morning,

I am currently a student at SUNY Adirondack, where I will be getting my Associate's from at the end of this semester. My first few semesters were a bit rocky, and I ended up dropping more than one class without notifying professors or the registrar, resulting in a few F's. I got myself together the following semesters, and I realize now that simply not going to class as a "drop" is a very bad decision.

At a current 50 credits, I have a gpa of 3.44 and have been on the Dean's list 3 semesters in a row. In addition, I tutor reading and writing at my school's Center for Reading and Writing, and I am also a Spanish tutor. I have gotten letters of recommendation from both of the supervisors/professors I tutor for, as well as professors I've taken two or three classes with and aced.

Does Stony Brook sound like a reasonable goal for me? And how likely is it to be accepted into the Psychology BS program, especially when I haven't really focused on math and science up until this semester.

Thanks!
