im graduating in 2013 (currently a junior)

214/547 in my class without honors rank somewhere around 150s-190s with honors rank
all honors/AP this past year
haven't gotten my APUSH score back yet
haven't taken ACT or SAT (any reccomendations on when to take them?)
involved in FCCLA, NHS, SNHS (Spanish NHS), Student Council, softball and volleyball

so what are my chances of getting admitted/accepted into madison?

You need to improve your grades junior year. This will be the most important year as it is the last full year admissions people will see. Improving grades will make your current gpa far less important. You will impress admissions if you show you have matured and can get the A’s in most classes. If you do your best and still get similar grades you probably should consider other schools as your likely place and have UW-Madison as your reach school. Do practice tests and take the tests next spring. That will give you an idea of where you stand and give you a chance to improve your scores the fall of senior year. Don’t bother with them this fall as you will have learned a lot this coming school year and do much better in the spring.
