In the summer of 2009, I attended Lead America’s Medicine and Health-care youth leadership conference at Georgetown University in Washington D.C. This program provided me with the unique opportunity to experience leadership development in an experimental environment allowing me to learn the complexities of the medicine and health-care process first hand. Here, I participated in an intensive health-care simulation and gained a better understanding of the roles of physicians and patients. From interacting with students across the nation, working with a robot simulator, and learning how to diagnose a patient with certain symptoms, I gained maturity, became more independent, became more confident, and developed skills that will better prepare for me college and the challenges that may lie ahead in my future.

Thanks in advance for your help!

I think your in!

hmmmm thanks!

But im a little concerned with my test scores… Ive been doing my research on the schools and it seems my score is a little on the low side based on FSU’s standards…

But you are at the top 6% of your class. And being Hispanic may a bit of a tip. You are at least in for summer but my guess is for fall.

I honestly did not think those factors were very important.

Thanks for your help!

It would be unusual for someone in the top 10% to not be accepted.

Agreed. A Top 10% student usually is admitted. However, retake the tests and see if you can better your scores.
