My stats are:
In-state
GPA: 3.676/5 weighted; 2.782/4 unweighted
ACT: 27
Class Rank: 141/412
4 AP/IBs. The rest were Honors (except English 1 CP freshman year)
Intended major: History
ECs: marching band, strings
Let me start off by saying yes I am fully aware of how bad my GPA and class rank are, and how average my ACT score is. I don’t expect to get in at all, but I’m wondering what my chances are of getting into the bridge program. I’m hoping that my ACT score and uncompetitive major can be enough for me to get bridged.
@pl215382 Clemson really doesn’t look at EC’s unless you are applying to the Honors College. @dc4752 your stats look like several I have seen get into the Bridge, however I’m not sure how much more competitive it is this year. You can call and see how you stack up. Ask about their averages fro last year’s Freshman.
It depends on your major. I know many in Bridge with SATs near 1400 and GPAs well over 4. But then surprisingly, kids with much worse scores are accepted into Clemson. But like I said it is very dependent on your major, And as stated previously, Clemson doesn’t care about extracurriculars. They are looking at scores mostly, which I feel is very unfortunate.
