Will be missing calculus 3, and Linear algebra. Its equivalent to 1 class at UCI</p>
<p>Try to bump up your GPA to TAG level (3.2). </p>
<p>Otherwise it is a maybe, since a lot of people put that as their alternative for bizadmin.</p>
<p>I would apply for regular econ. You can switch to bizecon (only 3 extra classes) anytime since it is not impacted.</p>

<p>Bus econ and econ are equally impacted. They have largely identical requirements.</p>
<p>FYI, most areas in business don’t care much about your major, they care about where you went and your GPA more. Then they care about the experiences that you’ve had(E.G. becoming president, VP or treasurer of a business club, getting an internship, working) especially if those experiences are at big name places.</p>

<p>Also changing major is simple. Just go to student access and apply for a change in major. Should take about a day to complete the transaction.</p>
<p>Also you could probably be any major and switch to bizecon, not just economics.</p>
<p>Business Admin on the other hand is impossible to switch to for transfers.</p>
<p>I am also pretty sure, just because the major has the word “business” in front of it, it gets more applicants than regular economics. However, both the majors will have more applicants than a majority of other majors that UCI offers.</p>

<p>^^Kaineji, you can get in with a TAG but the only problem is that classes fill up instantly, literally.</p>
