Hi everybody,
I am an international student looking to study in US. I have taken the SAT a few times. My highest score is 1970.
CR:560 CW:610 Math:800
My Sat Subjects are :
Physics: 710
Math Level 1: 800
Math Level 2: 800

English is my 4th language.
I have applied to the following unis.(and some backup options)
NYU, USC, Cornell, BU, Duke, Dartmouth, Johns Hopkins, Northeastern, Upenn, Washington Uni in St Louis.
Excluding the other factors, for which of these unis I have a good chance of getting in? (I will take the Sat one more time and hopefully get something between 2000-2100.)
Particularly for NYU and USC how good are my chances?

Ehh… Your SAT is really low for some of those schools, It’s even below the 25th percentile for NYU and USC. Depending on your GPA and ECs I’d say it’s a high reach for all those schools.

I agree with everyone else. Perhaps u cud get into one of ur dream universities if u werent an intl student but since u r an intl student, u need to have above-average stats. Study for the SAT and aim for a 2100+. Study as hard as you can and I am sure you will improve. Also, why don’t u look more into a couple of more universities that are better than ur safeties but little lower than ur list?

I see. Can you please suggest a good safety school then because I thought Miami would be easy to get in (also considering my SAT 2). Thank you for your help!
