How are my chances? I don’t have many volunteering hours or extracurriculars. Will this ruin my chances to get into CSU Long Beach?

There are only 4 questions on the CSU application in regards to EC’s, so these are not really a factor in CSU admissions. CSU GPA and SAT/ACT scores are the most important. Based on posted stats, your EI is 4900. You should have no problem in getting into CSULB. Good Luck.

With the 8 semester AP bonus point cap, 4.55 is almost mathematically impossible.

Regardless, even with a 3.7, you’d make it in with plenty of margin to spare. Your ECs don’t matter at all.

SDSU is also worth a shot.

Good luck.

Sorry missed that the GPA listed is not possible using the CSU/UC GPA calculator. Regardless, you are a competitive applicant and should get into all the CSU’s you plan to apply except for SLO.
