Chances of Getting into Honors Program?

Alright, so I'm a high school junior graduating early and I've been accepted into UNL, which I know isn't a big deal but I'm planning on going somewhere much more prestigious for med school. However, I'm worried that I might not get accepted into the honors program at UNL and feel that if I'm not in honors for every semester then down the line, the better med schools aren't going to look at me as seriously.
UNL's "requirements" to get into the honors program is to have an ACT score of at least 31, to be in the top 10% of my class, and to show academic prowess.

I'm a B+ student with my uwgpa being right under 3.5 I think, I'm closer to the top 25% of my class and I haven't actually taken the ACT yet, but my projected score is 32 and I hope to get higher. As far as academic prowess, would graduating early be seen as that and what kind of effect will early graduation have on whether I get in or not? Also, because I'm graduating early I've only had the chance to be in three AP courses and I'm only going to be testing in two. The requirements on the site are listed, not stated in a sentence so I'm not sure if I need all of the requirements or if I need to only meet one. This is really kind of worrying me so anything will help. Thanks!!!!

You have to email them and ask. However considering how open and non-elitist UN is, I’m willing to bet it’s EITHER top 10% OR ACT 31. (In fact i’m surprised it’s even that high !)
Okay, I looked it up and it clearly states “Most successful candidates for the University Honors Program present one or more of the following credentials:” == ONE OR MORE does not mean “all of those”.

It sounds like you could benefit from an extra year of high school though, either with dual enrollment or AP classes, then apply to a better school.

Ey, have you read Fangirl? It takes place at UNL :)
