Chances of getting into nyu?

Hello, I'm new to this whole thing, but some insight to NYU admissions would be greatly appreciated! Currently, I'm a junior in high school and an aspiring English/Pre-Law major. My GPA unweighted is 3.94 and I take my SATs this winter (predicting my score will be around 1580-1700's, based on teachers, classes, PSATs). Some EC's are:
Student Ambassador (since soph yr.)
Spanish Honor Society (since soph yr.)
Music Honor Society (since fresh yr.)
Thespian Society (fall dramas and musicals since fresh yr.)
School Newspaper - Assistant Editor (staff writer since soph yr)
School Webmaster
Concert choir (since fresh yr.)
Honors Choir (since fresh yr.)
Christian Social Action Club (executive board since soph yr.)
Peace and Justice Club (co president/ in club since fresh yr.)
Spanish Peer Tutoring (since soph yr.)
Over 350 hours of Community/Volunteer Service (and counting)
All State Choir - 2 yrs
Regions Choir - 3 years
and hopefully Peer Leadership and National Honor Society!

I have great relationships with all my teachers, too. Tell me what you think - Thank you!
I'm terrible at standardized testing, but hopefully that won't turn them away!

This is gonna sound mean, but i’m really trying to help you
Your GPA and EC’s are really strong, but that SAT score wont cut it
Invest in SAT courses, they can definitely get you up 150-250 points
If u can do that like 1900 or higher you should be good!

^^
Agree with everything except the suggestion to take courses.

thank you! do you know if they accept ACT as well? or do they only need one, ACT or SAT?

what if she had her grades, but a 31 on the act? i’m almost identical to you, OP, but I’ve taken the ACT. are you applying ED?

I plan on taking the ACT sometime soon after my SAT. And yes, I would most likely apply ED. It’s my #1 choice.
