Chances of getting into U. of Texas and U of Washington...please help!

Hello! Thanks for taking the time to read my thread, first of all. I am applying to the MBA programs of both UT and UW and wondering what my chances are of getting into each one. According to US News & World Report, they are tied for the 18th best overall MBA programs in the country. Without further ado, here are my vitals:

GMAT: 720 (96th percentile overall, 97th verbal, 80th math). Haven't seen my AWA score yet.

Undergrad GPA: 3.1 overall (was kind of a slacker my first two years), 3.7 major GPA

Letters of Recommendation: 1 from a high-ranking Microsoft executive, 1 from a Medical Doctor, 1 undecided

Work Experience: 2 years at HP, 1.5 years at Microsoft, both sales positions

Please let me know if you have any insight, thoughts, opinions, or questions. Thanks again!

I think you have a much better chance at UW than UT. UW has a higher overall acceptance rate and UT places priority on its in-state applicants. I think UT only takes 10% of its incoming freshman class from out of state. There is some type of Texas law that requires them to take mostly TX residents. I don't think that UW works that way.
