<p>Alright, so here goes:
Freshman and sophomore year I slacked off big time; solid C's and B's. I'm a really smart guy, scored super high on the gifted and talented test, blah blah blah. I just never did the work because school bored me, and I didn't plan on going to college because I thought that without a question I'd go into debt. Once my ignorance was cleared up, I aimed my sights higher.
So I decided to double up and take on senior and junior years in one fight. My current schedule:</p>

Chorus

Government
Gym everyday
Online Physics</p>
<p>I've really buckled down, I'm doing my homework, studying, and I have A's in all classes. I could easily walk out with straight A's this year. But after my first two years are factored in, I'd end up with probably around a 3.0 average. They'll like to see that I decided to step up and graduate early, correct? I also explained the personal reasons surrounding my poor performance in the first two years of school, and how coming out of the closet gave me the confidence in myself to excel in my junior/senior year. blah blah blah.</p>

My mother just got clean and is in college</p>
<p>Do these things matter?</p>
<p>CUNY Hunter's acceptance rate is 30%. This is daunting. I'm also looking at CUNY Lehman, SUNY Purchase, and SUNY Plattsburgh. I would major in geography at all but Purchase, where I would major in acting, naturally.
