I'm hoping the transfer from western new england university where i am a sophomore electrical engineering student to RPI either this upcoming spring or next fall (start of my junior year). My high school GPA was low a 2.94 but took honors classes, my sat was 1270 on 1600 scale. my first semester freshmen year I was a business major at UAlbany where i got a 4.0 then i transferred to WNE spring semester and became an EE major. My GPA fell to a 3.2 (had to buy car worked crazy hours). Now in my hardest semester yet course wise (fall sophomore yr) I should be able to get around a 3.7, but obviously working for another 4.0. So what do you think? If you don't think I could get in why not/ what could improve chances? I will have 3 very strong recommendation letters probably including a professor I had who currently teaches at RPI, strong athletic and community service background in HS. If it matter low HS GPA can partially be explained by 10 month concussion.
