Hello,
I currently attend a community college in California, but last year I went to a private university out of state. I ended up receiving a 3.25 gpa my first semester, but a 1.3 gpa my second semester (I failed Calculus 2). I ended up withdrawing from that university and enrolling in community college back home. I completed 6 units over the summer with a 4.0 gpa and completed this fall semester with 20 units and another 4.0. Overall, my gpa is looking to be around 3.6 or 3.7 (I retook Calculus 2 and got an A). I am a philosophy major and applied to transfer to UC Berkeley, UCLA, and UCSD for next fall. How do I fair in getting into these schools? I really hope I can go to Berkeley because it has been my dream school; do I have a good chance?
see the sticky at the top of the forum “Transfer admit GPAs and rates by major and campus” and you can get an idea of your chances
