Hi, I am currently a high school senior who has been put on the wait list at UVA. I am a legacy and instate. I was wondering what my chances of transferring would be after one year.
GPA- 3.95 weighted
1710 SAT
ec
V Tennis 10-12 top seed in 12
piano 9-12
community chorus 9-10

Please be honest. Thanks!

That depends more on your GPA wherever you're going next year. Try to get as high as possible and take difficult classes.

if you dont get in just go to a VCCS school, take 15 credits a semester, make sure you take a language class and get a 4.0. of you do all that you'll have a really good shot at getting in. and it isnt as hard as it seems.

You don't have to have a 4.0. I know plenty of people here who got in with lower.

I am planning to go to Mary Washington if I don't get in. Would a community college look just as good?

I'd go to Mary Washington if I were you, for a variety of reasons.

a community college wouldn't look as good, but if you are dead set on going to UVA and save a lot of money id chose a VCCS school.
