Chances of Virginia school

What schools do you guys think I have the best chances at?

My GPA is around a 3.3-3.5
My SAT was 1500/2400, and I just took them again Dec 1st

I played football for 4 years, and also I had a job two of the four years. My hopeful major is computer science. I am looking to go to schools in Virginia only. I would LOVE to get into VT, but I know that is a big reach. I am applying to CNU, JMU, Longwood, and VCU. I am looking for other possible schools as well.

with a 1500/2400 (i don't know how that quite works out because that requires a 900 writing????) sat score, i think you would definitely get into all those, including vt...

jcrew he is saying that he got a 1500 out of the total 2400, not a 1500 on the first 2 sections and then a 2400 over all

oh lol i feel stupid alright. i'm not too sure then. i don't have too much experience but christopher newport, longwood, vcu, and probably jmu look within reach

i'm actually from virginia so i've at least heard of all these schools

Ah, alright. Yes, thanks for clarifying pntballer. I hope I can get into these schools.

Just wondering if anyone else knows anything about any of these schools, or others? Thanks

Celtik, I think you are in at CNU, VCU and Longwood. Va Tech and JMU are reaches. Your gpa is good for those 3 schools and your SAT scores are in their range. Also, some of these schools have more women than men which will help also. Other schools to consider are Lynchburg and Bridgewater. I have heard positive on both and I think you would get into them. Best of luck!

I've heard about those schools.. I don't think I really want to go to those though. I really hope you're right about me being accepted to the others though :) I'll post my results when I find them out. I have already applied EA to CNU

Thanks Celtik, best of luck again!
