Well, what do you think? I've never been so worried in my life. I don't know what I would do if I were rejected. After all, I'm better than pretty much everyone I know that is applying. And besides, this is a southern school, so how hard could it possibly be? Still, I just don't know. So what are my chances?

yale is much more selective than havard for starters.. and why are you so worried if you got into harvard anyway? you're just one of those annoying kids that can't wait to flaunt your stats... as for not knowing what you'd do.. gimme a break.. i'm sure you have options if you got into harvard

Goodness gracious. Why the heck are you even worried.. if HARVARD took you in the why in the world are you even posting about your "possible" chances into Emory? How could you not know? YOU'RE IN. Geeze.. agree with jerseygirl.. sorry if I came off as rude.. but honestly

you will no doubt be rejected from emory for being so stupid... anyone asking a question like this "omg please resond" is way too dumb.... i dont like you

did you guys miss his user name?

you've got to be kidding me.

what a troll.

Wow! Congratulations on your hard work! I'm assuming that because you are such a great applicant, both Harvard and Yale already gave you their decisions, even though they are both SCEA and don't give out regular decisions until April. It's exciting to see that you, High-School Heisman winner William Jacobs, are using this board. I'm just curious though, there seem to be some differences between your resume here and on the Heisman page. It seems you forgot to mention on the other profile that you played the above sports, though you did say that you did swimming, cross country, and track. Why do you have to be so modest? Playing six sports (two per season) is a feat that has never been done before, you should be proud. As for your chances, I think you're great, but that 790 on writing may hurt you; after all, this is Emory we're talking about here. I say you have 20-30% chances, but I'm notoriously optimistic. Good luck!

I hope BetterThanU is tossing these ridiculous posts to all these different college discussion forums as a satire highlighting the ridiculously narcissistic posts that sometimes appear on this site. If it isn’t a joke, however, then he’s a pompous ass who should be castrated with bricks to prevent future reproduction. I think it’s the former, look at the godd**n screen name.

Lol, you guys, take it easy. We're getting so riled up about this admissions **** that we cant even laugh at a good joke. Read his extracurriculars, hes OBVIOUSLY trying to get your goat.

I believe you will be rejected. Honestly, if you can't get a 2400 than Emory is not for you.

The joke was funny the first time I saw it, now, omg, it is old.

Haha, wow I definitely didn't read those extracurriulars all the way through... I feel really foolish..

Yeah Im almost positive he is kidding... There is absolutely no way somone could do that much and get a perfect GPA

.............

lol

BTU - My gardener just doesn't follow directions well. I see you have summer experience. I think I can live with him for another 4 years until you graduate either Harvard or Emory. Any interest?

TROLL!!!

He can't get into Harvard and Yale and know his decisions considering that both are Single Choice Early Action. If he did, he broke the rules and risks having his admissions from Harvard rescended.

Plus, I'm pretty sure that he's pulling our leg, but I don't think anyone can play football, baseball, and basketball for four years in addition to his other acheivements.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

For like 5 posts this was believed. And then I love the people that go, wait, you can only apply to either Harvard or Yale. sooo stupid. I am staying away from this board from now on.

...i was simply surprised that no one noticed earlier...

How did Yale defer you but Harvard accepted you?

dude, it's not a true story...he's making it up...do you know what a troll is?

lol, started a soup kitchen. thats fresh
