I am currently a freshman at a community college and I'm applying to Chapel Hill as a sophomore student. I was home schooled during high school, but took plenty of classes/courses outside of my home through organizations for students/home schooled students, and graduated HS with a 3.9 GPA. I was dual enrolled at a college during my senior year and got a 3.8 GPA there taking 6 or 7 classes and getting only one B in College calculus. And last semester during my freshman year of college I got a 4.0, and have all As so far this semester. I have a letter of recommendation and a good essay. I was been extremely involved in community involvement and extra curricular, volunteer work, leadership positions. Including currently being a student leader/volunteer in my youth group/church, and specifically the 8th grade girls leader this year. And I was a competitive figure skater and dancer for over 4 years during high school.

Now that I've stated the good i'll state the bad...

I have a VERY low act score. Ill be completely honest and say a 20. I know i'm a really good student though, but I am terrible at these kind of test. I had ADD and testing anxiety as a child and even though I have gone far since then I still fight it a little. I've been to UNC a lot of times and on a tour and asked about this, they told me to write a letter concerning this. I also dropped two classes last semester because my adviser signed me up for CHEM, Bio and Trig and two labs. I didn't know at the time you are not suppose to take that many science and maths in one semester and it became overwhelming, so I dropped CHM and Trig knowing that I could take them again later. So I hope that part isn't too bad.

I know ACT doesn't matter as much as a transfer but it still kind of matters. Please tell me what you think, thank you!
