wow you are a really strong candidate for all of those schools…the only suggestion would be (I know you said this too, but it is the only thing I can think of telling you to do that will strengthen your app) to retake your SAT to get a better score. You have a good score right now but something >2300 is ideal for the top schools on your list…I would say your 90-100% in at everywhere except Wharton and MIT. For those two I would say 70-80% in. All the best my Indian bro! lol…Now please chance me!

Current School: UC Irvine

Current Major: Business Economics

Applied Major: Business Economics @ UCLA (I am a transfer student)

GPA: 3.92, (3.933 including Winter '10 grades)

Extra Curricular Activities: UCI Entrepreneur Society Active Member since Fall '08,
Currently Participating in SCORE (Counselor’s to America’s Small Business) workshops with certificate upon completion. Dean’s Honor’s list all quarters. I’ve done Extensive Volunteer-work throughout High School (They allowed you to list this on the application, but I don’t know how much they care about it)

Work: Internet Marketing and Sales position at a Small Business for ~4.2 years (2006-present, 12 hours a week)…grew the business by over 30% in terms of profits.

Prereqs: All Done.

I would say good chances because of your business related ECs, and the fact that UC Irvine and UCLA are both UCs. I don’t know how college GPA works but I assume Dean’s Honor’s list is a very good achievement. I’d guess 75% (assuming your GPA is very good because you’re applying for the same major so you would obviously do well).

Bump! 10char

honestly, u have a really good shot at every college listed
chance me back

Hey there,

I think you’re a good fit for many of the business schools that you expressed interest in. Taking the initiative to start a business, develop plans, act on them, raise capital, etc, are all terrific qualities that you should emphasize in your application.

Bringing up the SAT score would be great, but your high IB exam score is terrific.

I think bringing up the CEO-shadowing experience would be a terrific essay, as would leading a group either for teaching rural kids English or for your particle accelerator or cloud chamber, and probably sit well for the business schools.

Great ECs, too - definitely shows passion.

Unfortunately, I don’t really know enough to offer specific chances for any of the schools, but hopefully the rest of the feedback will help. You seem like a terrific fit at most of them, though, and have a far above average shot - now it’s only the randomness of the admissions process to really contend with.

Could you give me some feedback, as well?

wow amazing stats, just pick whichever school you like the best and youll probaly get in :)

Your ECs are ridiculous. Get your SATs (esp. CR) up and you should have an excellent chance at all of them.

Get your SAT up a little bit. Friend just got into Huntsman program at Wharton two weeks ago. He had 2400 and 4.8GPA W. So you are there, maybe just a little more SAT work. Please chance me, too!

Thanks for the chances guys. What is the Huntsman program?

I believe it’s a program at upenn that combines a business major (usually econ) with a major in IR. It’s very heavy on getting strong math students who are also near fluent in a global language. Extremely selective-about 50 students get in per year.
