Chances Please???

I know this is tiring but UGA is my dream school and I would like to either be at ease or make other plans if there is a consensus either way!

Obviously being a legacy doesn't help but my mother went there

Thank you so much!

Wow. That’s crazy. You have better stats than me and I got into UGA out of state early action as well. I’d say your chances are pretty high for regular decision.

Yeah I just sent in my mid-years, which is 5 a’s and 2 b’s so hopefully that will impact my decision as well!

Nice! Best of luck!

Thanks!!

Are you definitely going to UGA in the fall?

I don’t understand why you were deferred…

I think because I only have a 3.6? (Sometimes it’s a 3.56 depending on who you’re talking to)

And because my CR+M= 1280?

I don’t know

I hope so! It’s not definite though. If I can get the money for out of state tuition then yes!

Great course rigor and ECs, good SAT score. That GPA is the reason for deferral. I think you’ll get in this time around! UGA has received 21,000 applications this year. They had 18,000 last year and 17,000 the year prior to that, so it’s just competition. Fingers crossed!

Good luck!

It had to be the GPA; I can’t see it being the SAT score at all. You have the course rigor. Great EC’s. Who knows what admissions are thinking sometimes, but I think you’re definitely getting in RD.

I got in everyone!!!

Congrats! What state are you from? Are you going for sure or are you waiting for Financial Aid letter like we are? (From CA)

Thanks! I’m from Maryland and I am like 99.9999999999 going. I doubt ill get financial aid so I’m not waiting for that
