Your GPA is in the 50th percentile, although on the lower end, but your ACT and APs more than make up for them. You’re definitely in.

In state or out?

Safe match if you are in-state, match if you are out-of-state.

Wow, I’m surprised. I would’ve said a low reach in state, reach OOS. The 3.6 is with 4 APs, not 9. So we have to take that into account.

Well I am in state, and jrt I also took all the toughest classes including honors in all possible classes. Also for all my english classes (the bulk of my B’s) since it was all honors/ap 93.0 instead of 89.5% was an A-, teachers said that u of m does take this grading scale into consideration.

I’m not saying you didn’t. It’s a match. I think UM expects you to take the hardest classes you can though. A 3.625 taking hard classes is good, but it’s not going to make UM a safety for you.

Your good test scores and EC’s should make up for your average GPA. I would say that it is a match

thanks, also btw, would sending sat 2 scores help? i got 760 in both math 2 and chem
