Chances Plus question!

Hi! I am a 2009 girl and I am VERY interest in Furman. I fell in love with the school after visiting campus this summer. I would appreciate any feedback/chances here are my stats:

Female
age 17
I come from a small (70 girls in my class) very competitive all girls private school in the washington DC area

GPA: around an 80% but I have an upward trend and somewhat of an explanation for my low GPA which I have explained in my application also it is less common for girls have have A+ averages at my school if that makes sense

ACT: 30 composite

Classes Taken (my school does not offer AP english classes or AP history classes until senior year FYI and there are no AP classes offered until junior year and then just a few)

I have take:
4 years of english
3 years of upper school french
6 science classes (Biology, physics, Chemistry, forensics, engineering, AP environmental)
4 years of math (algebra II, algebra III, geo/trig, Calculus)
4 years of history including AP Gov.
ceremics

i also have been studying ballet VERY seriously for over 14 years and have dedicated myself entirely to the art. i dance 6-7 days/week usually around 20+ hrs /week. i have also recieved an honorable mention in my the distinguished scholars program for dance

i have also volunteered over 100 hours with habitat for humanity in new orleans and am very dedicated as a tutor for underpriviliged DC elementary school children

i have written my essay on my struggle with and overcoming an eating disorder and I feel confident in my supplemental essays as well

On another note... because the early decision is not technically binding until January and accepted students may choose to decline admissions is it possible to apply early to furman as well as another college (ED)

Thank you all!!

Tay, you have good credentials. Apply early. Good luck
