Chances RD

I know alot about Villanova but I wanted my chances anyway

Liberal Arts and Sciences Applicant

GPA: 3.4 Unweighted
SAT: 1130 out of 1600 (not 2400 scale)

Extra-Curriculars-Phenominal (variety of professional internships and leadership positions within the school).

Recommendations-outstanding (two board member's letters, met with the entire admissions office, private board meetings, judge, president of bank, alumnus, two PHD professors from my school

School: Parochial: Top 10 in the midwest

White Male/Michigan

Joe-looks like there are alot of people in your corner (recommendations). I would guess the testing is the only hting on the negative side but hopefully it will be balanced by great essays and the interviews you had with admissions. Good Luck.

scores are low... villanova is getting pretty competitive... i am not sure how much those relationships w/ admissions will help... GOOD LUCK!!!

Liberal Arts and Sciences is less competitive than some schools at Nova, but I agree that your testing is lower for them.
It's a toss-up! And if you do get in...you may not get anything in merit aid, if that is a concern.

I don't need merit aid (not to sound pretentious) but my parents will help me out..I know my score is gonna be the death of me and its upsetting... I hope everything else will help.. I can't help it I am a horrible standardized test taker

you are in the same boat as me when it comes to the SAT but lets keep our fingers crossed for the both of us!

yeah i hope you get in too! what school did you apply to?

i applied to the Arts and Sciences, I want to be a spanish major

Hey man, you have Michigan... No worries if you don't get in; I would kill to be in state for UMICH! I just hope you applied there... IMO, it's WAY better than Nova. So lucky you... BTW: Villanova is great, too! "If you get in." But I rather be a Wolverine. But unfortuanately, I don't live there, so it's too hard to gain entry into Ross. :)

Although I am a resident of Michigan and I love U of M the likelihood of me being admitted is minimal.. Michigan is an incredibly competitive school even for in-state residents and I don't have the test scores.. Its much more difficult for me to get in there then at Nova and although I would love to go to U of M its a little to big for my taste.. I also lived in Ann Arbor for 12 years and it would be pure reminiscence of my childhood
