I'm thinking of putting in some more applications and was thinking about Albany, Buffalo University and New Paltz. I've already applied to Binghamton (yeah i know, no chance). Are these schools within my range? If not what schools can you recommend? preferably east side and with rolling admissions.
Thanks.

What do you want to study? How much can you spend?

Probably should have mentioned that. I want to study business and i can spend around $28,000 including accomadation.

The budget makes choices limited. The others I know of would be on the W Coast in the CSU system. San Diego State, Fullerton, Cal Poly SLO. Much nicer locations than the SUNYs!

Yeah budget is a bit of an issue. I did consider San Diego state at one point but i heard it’s considered to be a bit of a party school and it is a bit of an issue getting there to visit as it’s so far from the other schools i have applied to. Do you think i have a reasonable chance at any of the suny schools i mentioned?

anyone else?

Yes, I think you have a shot. SD State is indeed a party school, but it is what you make it. The idea of 4 years in Albany or Buffalo rather than San Diego would make grown men cry.

haha trust me anywhere will be a whole lot better than where i am now. The plan is to transfer after about 2 years anyway so i’m not too bothered about the town/city.
