Hi! I am currently a high school junior applying to top tier institutions such as Princeton, Amherst, Harvard, Stanford, and Cornell.

Anyway, please give any helpful feedback/criticism, and tell me if you or anyone you know have had similar stats and been accepted/rejected from the above colleges. Thanks so much!

Are you doing Wharton or CAS for Penn?

University of Pennsylvania: low reach
Columbia University: mid reach
University of Chicago: low/mid reach
Brown University: low/mid reach
UC Berkeley: high match
Princeton: reach
Amherst: low reach
UC Davis: high match
Harvard: reach
Stanford: reach

I think you’re in at the UC’s and will get into ~3-4 of the schools I listed as reaches.

Similar stats rejected from Stanford ED. Don’t know the rest yet.

You are academically qualified, but I’m worried that there’s little to set you apart(70%~ of the applicant pool will have similar stats) It could go either way. Good luck.

Odds are against you at all the schools, simply because of the number of qualified applicants. Apply to them, wish for luck, but also apply to a safety school that you know will be more likely to accept you and that you would be content to attend if by sheer bad luck you are rejected at the others.

You have a good chance of getting into maybe at least half of those schools…of course, with such high standards, no one can really know. You don’t have tons of EC’s (more than I do though, haha), but your SAT and GPA are great, so you’re definitely a strong competitor.
I pretty much agree with all that @bradybest said about matches/reaches.

Thanks for the input guys. What do you think I could do to improve my chances, what can I do to differentiate myself from the 70% @AmaranthineD ? Btw elppaenip I already chanced you haha

Your grades are great, just try to diversify the ECS as much as you can. Do something interesting over the summer!
