with a 3.8, none of those are likely to accept you.

If you are dead set on studying in CA and have the budget, I’d take a look at several private colleges like Loyola Marymount and Univ of San Diego as places to get a solid education.

UC’s tend to be very GPA focused so your best bet would be UCSC. I would add UCR and UCM to your list. Although this is just based on your stats only, your PIQ’s and EC’s will all be considered in your application review. Just looking at your overall application, your EC’s took precedence over your academics (GPA wise). Being a full pay International applicant does give you a very slight advantage.
