SAT I: 750M/630V: 1380 Total (Do they take the highest scores from multiple tests? On another test I got 710/660, which would be a 1410 if it was 750/660)

SAT II: Writing: 670 Bio: 690 Math IC: 730 (On a previous session I scored 680/630/720, will they take the higher Writing score?)

I was wondering if I had a shot at: UC Davis, Irvine, or Santa Barbara?

EDIT: Added art grades since they apparently count. That brings me to a UC GPA of 3.0

First, art may be included as part of you UC GPA. Check on the list of UC approved classes for your school (you need a fine arts class in any case) Right now, your GPA is on the low side for UC Davis and UC Santa Barbara. If you did really well in art, that might help a bit. Best of luck. :)

well how many of those are honors? Also it's not good that your grades slipped right after freshmen year so much. Your classes do seem more challenging than the average students though so that's good. Your SAT scores both I and II seem in good order as well higher than the average in all cases. EC's are okay i gues..................

I'm not so sure any of those colleges are for you though you do have chances at all of them. Almost all of them are somewhat reaches. You might want to apply to UCR or take up community college and then transfer.

they dont tkae your best of both scores on your sats for the UC's or i think anywhere else, they only take your OVERALL score in the SAT's, so you only submit your 1380...

they DO take highest the 3 highest SAT2's for UC right? all of a sudden i got super paranoid this week that they will see my 540 in chemistry. (the rest are good, no worries)

They take the highest writing, highest math I or IIc and highest of 3rd subject. I THINK they will see the whole thing with all of ur scores and subjects. Panther, as long as ur not going in on a science major, or if u can neutralize it with a 3 or better on the chem ap test, or u got a better score on another science test, then u should b fine as long as ur eligibility index is high enough.

I'd try applying @ UCR and UCSC. Good schools with lower gpa standards. Make no mistake, your SAT's are very good, but your gpa isn't too pretty. Maybe you could look @ SDSU or a few privates(USD, LMU, etc.)
