Chances?

<p>I am a high school freshman and want to go to CCU (Coastal Carolina University): Below are my grades done by 9 weeks:</p>

English - C
Algebra 1 Pt. 1 - C

World History - C
Earth Science - A</p>

<p>2nd 9 Weeks
Vocal Ensemble - A
Keyboarding - A
English - B
Algebra 1 pt. 1 - C

World History - C
Earth Science - A</p>

<p>Semester Grades
Vocal Ensemble - A
Keyboarding - B (Got a C on the exam)
English - C
Algebra 1 pt. 1 - C

Earth Science - A</p>

<p>3rd Nine Weeks

English - F (Is this going to kill me?) (The problem : Romeo & Juliet)

<p>4th Nine Weeks (So far)

<p>So.. Is that one F going to kill me chances and "mess up" my freshman year? I think my GPA for 4th Nine Weeks is like a 2.8 (estimate)</p>

<p>1: *** is this weekly crap? Is your school that weird that you get weekly grades? Show some Quarter grades or something.
2: You're a freshman, you have no idea where you want to go.</p>

<p>zack4ccu, I will be quite honest. You have 3 more years to get your grades up. Plus you will need to take SATs, etc. I don't think that one F is going to kill you. Plus, colleges look for upward trends in grades as much as they look for high grades. <p>It says weekly. It doesnt nec. mean it's his quarter grades.</p>
