You look like a good candiate for College of General Studies.

If depends on how much fin aid you need
My family had an expected contribution to college of 3700 a year and BU only gave me 30 thou in aid, leaving me with a gap of 10 thou. Also, most of their scholarships are for people who have low financial need. I had a 1490/1600 on my SATS and a 4.0 and got no merit scholarships, because I had a lot of financial need.

Anyways, good luck.
Apply though, cause you never know what's gonna happen.

Although your scores are below the norm you have diversity going for you since you are Hispanic and from California. Is that an UW GPA? Since you are in a top school is the grading more difficult?

I also took the SAT II's:
*Spanish-760
*US Hist-660

Anyone else have advice?

The problem is that CGS is not need-blind in admission, and "merit" is a significant factor in financial aid. My guess is you might be admitted to CGS, but would likely have to take out nasty loans. (frankly)

I didn't think BU was known for their merit aid. If I read correctly the above posts, the less "need" you have, the more "merit" aid you can get? (providing the stats are there of course). And how does this vary among the different schools - particularly interested in Engineering. Daughter's stats: 3.95 unweighted; rank 7/550. 4.225 weighted; rank 3/550. SAT's (retaking) 690M, 650CR, 570W. SAT II Math 2 750; SAT II Chem 720. Course load all honors and AP except Marching Band and language (no honors or AP offered). EC includes competitive dance team (8 years); marching band 3 yrs; NHS; many musical instruments; and holds down a consistent job 9 - 25 hrs. week.

Thanks!

The merit scholarships are not related at all to need except for the Dean's scholarship which is why that is the only one that requests a FAFSA or Profile. Even that one may come down to a millionaire child vs. a middle class one with the same stats so that the need may be taken into account along with the SATs and GPA. See the BU web site for specifics.
