Chances?

I posted before and got one real response and one troll, so I figure I'll try again.

Unlike the vast majority of people on these boards I'm not some model student laboring over Ivy League acceptance. I'm an average student simply wishing to see where I stand.

I'm a white High School junior at a competitive public school in MA.

Basics

Class Rank: uncalculated, but within the top 20 percent for sure. Class size ~ 300.
GPA: once again, uncalculated, probably ~ 3.4 ... maybe?
PSAT: 198(didn't care or try. I'm pretty sure I can get ~ 2100 or higher)

Since I don't really know my rank or GPA I'll list my classes and their final grade.

Thank you!

To be honest, you sound pretty good.

Im from the UK so i'm finding all of these SAT things confusing (we don't have them)

But yeah pretty good. Good luck.

Yea, I agree. Your list looks really good, good balance of safeties, matches, and I don't really see any huge reaches. The only slight reach is Boston College, but I still think you could get in there too... Good luck!

I think you have a great shot at Boston U. and Hampshire. Boston College, Hamilton, and Colby are more of reaches (although certainly not impossible), University of Chicago is also a reach and depends a lot on how good your essays are, and I'm not really familiar with the rest. Good luck!

I agree with Kev07wan....Boston College may be a slight reach but I'm sure you'll get in there and the rest are either matches or safeties....But your course load and your scores are pretty good! Good Luck!
