chances?

<p>I'm a male from NY and hope to major in business</p>

<p>GPA: not really sure what it is out of 4....but its a weighted 96.5 (thats probably pretty low)</p>

<p>ACT: 34 (33 eng, 33reading, 36 math, 35 sci)
SAT: 800 Math, 550 reading, 710 writing
SAT 2s: 800 Math 2, 730 Chem, 570 UShist, 560 bio</p>

<p>i guess i would only send my ACT...since its pretty good</p>

<p>ECs
-i am a nationaly ranked fencer...but emroy has no team...so i spent a lot of time on that
-lot of volunteer work
-internships at cpa and attorneys offices</p>

<p>idk what i look like when applying to emory...good chances?</p>

<p>also, i know this is the wrong thread....but what do u think my chances are at nyu stern</p>

<p>A 96.5 is a 3.86 (out of 4) GPA equivalent. Thats pretty good as a UW GPA, but weak as a weighted GPA.</p>

<p>How does your school give rank to Honors/AP courses?</p>

<p>A 34 ACT is nice.</p>

<p>Fencing looks interesting. </p>

<p>How many APs have you taken? Rank?</p>

<p>i have taken 5 APs, will be taking 5 as a senior.....my school doesn't rank.</p>

<p>All my classes have been as hard as they could be especially except English, I did Honors instead of AP lang/lit</p>

<p>my school gives a+,a,b+,b...etc
and i believe that honors/ap are weighted half a letter grade (so an A in ap = a+ after being weighted)</p>

<p>so what do my chances look like</p>
