Chances?

I'm currently enrolled in a SUNY community college (for the past 2 years) and wanted to transfer to Binghamton for Spring '09. I'll be completing my associates degree this fall, so I'll be transferring with 68 credits completed.

I messed up pretty bad my first semester at the community college, but after that I've picked up my grades significantly.

My current GPA is 3.057, and I'm retaking a class during the fall semester that I failed my first semester, so my GPA will probably jump a point or two.

I'm wondering what my chances are of being accepted as a transfer? My major is computer science, if that helps.

Does transferring from a SUNY community college help me at all? Will I be able to get in? Any answers would be greatly appreciated.

Anybody have any information? I want to get in applications ASAP but need to know if I even stand a chance at being accepted?

You're in if you do well in the Fall.

I had a cumulative GPA of 2.54 from a SUNY CC (two semesters leading up to enrollment were 3.2 and 3.3 GPA respectively), and I was accepted. As long as it looks like you're going on the right track, and at a SUNY school, you're good.
