<p>The 3.75 floor may be for the very competetive business school , but I know of the following students profiles from my public High school in NJ:
accepted for 2008 class with 3.66 gpa , 1320 sat(rd) and 3.63 1220 sat + 660 writing(ea), 3.54 gpa , 1280 sat with 660 writing.</p>
<p>I dont know if these app's were legacy , recruit or otherwise hooked.</p>
<p>Admittance at All schools is more challenging than even 3 years ago , but do not be discouraged , apply , show your strengths , you are more than a gpa and sat.</p>
<p>Brave.......very encouraging to hear. College admissions has been a little crazy! Unfortunately, just looking at the sheer volume of applicants, it has become very difficult to predict the "chance me" threads.</p>
<p>Agreed, it is a crazy process.
While the volume of applicants is at an all time high , the number of applications per applicants is also exploding. students are applying to 10-15 schools now as opposed to 3-6 a few years ago. Common app has encouraged this.
But each student can only attend one school. Schools yield rates are down and schools had to go to wait list in large numbers this year.</p>
